Lightrail

The Festival location is served by VTA Light Rail. Park in any of VTA’s park and ride lots, purchase an 8-Hour Light Rail Excursion Passand ride light rail to any downtownstation (Santa Clara, Paseo de San Antonio, and the Convention Center Stations), and enjoy the Festival. Light Rail runs every 15 minutes on weekends, and every 15 minutes on weekdays. Taking VTA Light is quick, easy, stress-free, and green. Bus

Caltrain

Caltrain connects downtown San Jose to cities in the South Bay and along the Peninsula all the way to San Francisco. VTA light rail links the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station to the festival grounds.  To plan your trip, visit www.caltrain.com

 

Biking

There will be bike parking at the south end of Plaza De Cesar Chavez (Market and San Carlos St). Enter the Festival grounds from San Carlos entrance.

 

Parking

It several parking options within walking distance from the festival grounds, most of them offer free or cheap parking ($3 flat fee) during the weekends.

 

The closest facilities offering free parking on weekends from 6am - 6pm ($3 flat fee after 6pm) are:

   - Market/San Pedro Square Garage (45 N. Market St., Between Santa Clara and St. John Streets)

   - Second & San Carlos Street Garage (280 S. Second Street, also accessible from S. Third Street)

   - San Fernando & South Second (30 E. San Fernando St., just north of the Pavilion)

   - Pavilion Garage (150 S. Second St., on S. Second just south of San Fernando)

   - San Fernando & Third St. parking lot (80 E. San Fernando Street, just north of San Jose Repertory Theatre)

Traffic/streets closure

The following streets will be closed because of the festival:
On Thursday August 11 starting at 10am: Market Street, south bound, between San Fernando and San Carlos.

On Friday August 12 (starting at 6pm) through Sunday August 14:
- Post St, between Market and First St
- San Fernando, between Almaden Blvd and Market
- San Fernando, between Guadalupe Parkway and Almaden Blvd
- Market Street, south bound, between San Fernando and San Carlos (closing on Thursday August 6).
- First Street between San Carlos and San Salvador on Friday from 4pm to midnight.
